At Abbey Orthodontics we pride ourselves in providing quality orthodontics in a calm, friendly, and caring environment. Orthodontics for adults has come a long way in a very short time and we can provide the most comprehensive, effective and efficient methods of treatment.
Having orthodontic treatment as an adult is becoming increasingly popular. Liz regularly attends postgraduate seminars and conferences to keep up to date with modern techniques and knowledge.
The ideal standard for high quality orthodontic treatment is fixed braces, which are available in silver, white and gold. Alternatively, clear plastic braces are now an option, although these are not suitable for all cases. We also have low friction fixed appliances that are like conventional appliances but work faster.

At Abbey we pride ourselves in helping children/young people through their treatment in a kind, friendly, family atmosphere.
Our younger patients are our priority - we aim to explain things in an easily understandable way, allaying any fears. We are available to answer any questions you may have. We aim to ensure that the parent or guardian are aware of everything that is happening during treatment.
Orthodontics is a two-way venture - if we can motivate our younger patients and get a good response from them, then we can provide them with the smile they will love.
All types of treatment are available from removable appliances to fixed (train tracks) and any combination of the two. Low friction/faster brackets can reduce the treatment length. We avoid the extraction of teeth where possible.
