Radiography CourseJuly 30, 2017
The day had arrived for all of us to attend our radiography update course, which is part of our core CPD and has to be completed once every five years. The only course available to us was in Oxford at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
We agreed to meet bright and early (well maybe just early!) at Miriam’s house, as she was the dedicated driver for the day, thanks Miriam. After a reasonable journey on the motorway we arrived in Oxford and after a slight detour around the area we found the hospital. We were lucky enough to find a parking space quite quickly, as it was nearly time for the course to begin.
We made our way to the lecture room to be greeted with tea, coffee, biscuits and pastries – what a welcome! Well we can’t be good all the time!
The course was taught by Clare Wray and was full of information and humour, which helped with such an in-depth subject and before we knew it, it was time for lunch. After being fed and watered there were just a few hours left of the course. This meant we would be able to leave before the rush hour started, which is always a good plan.!
Our journey home was full of discussion about the course, which was excellent. Many thanks to Clare for an enjoyable day and the John Radcliffe Hospital for their great hospitality.
